1. NOFX is streaming their 11th studio full-length, Coaster on their MySpace page. It seems so un-NOFX-like, but the very serious “My Orphan Year” is one of the best songs Fat Mike has ever penned. 2. Thrash band BONDED BY BLOOD are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The group has been known to cover the band’s theme song in live performances, and a recorded version of the cover can be found here. 3. The 2009 Take Action tour raised over $40,000 for Dosomething.org. The funds were collected in part from tour ticket sales, and from the “Take Action! Volume 8 CD/DVD” compilation. 4. ANDREW W.K. is involved with a mixtape titled “Damn!” 5. THE ORANGES BAND (featuring Roman Kuebler and Doug Gillard from Spoon and Guided By Voices, respectively) have a new song streaming on the Morphius Records MySpace page. The tune is titled “I Wouldn’t Worry About It,” and is from their upcoming full-length Are Invisible.
