Mutant League Records Launches With Bands A FIGHT FOR LIFE and SEAWAY

Former member of the post-hardcore group ROSALINE and established artist manager, Nathan Steinheimer has announced the formation of his independent label Mutant League Records. “I want to release the most honest and authentic bands out there,” Steinheimer explains. “This is beyond genre, it’s about a certain caliber of feeling that sneaks through all types of music.”

Reflecting on the nature of the business, Steinheimer postulates that all labels aren’t created equally. “I spent my weekends sweating through DESCENDENTS tee-shirts in crowded Chicago basements. That’s who I am and as a result, I aim to house artists that influence people to become as passionate about music as I was growing up. Over the last few years I’ve been lucky enough to learn from and pair myself with some of the most renowned people in this industry. The opportunity to utilize these experiences for the benefit of the music I identify with is really exciting.”

Mutant League welcomes their first two signings: A Fight For Life from Atlanta, Georgia, and Seaway from Ontario, Canada.

A FIGHT FOR LIFE is a hardcore metal group hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. The band has an extensive tour history, having completed national runs with the likes of: The Air I Breathe, Decoder, Palisades, Us From Outside. A Fight For Life is heading into the studio this summer with producer Nick Scott (Miss May I) to begin work on their debut full-length out later this year.

SEAWAY is a pop-punk group from Oakville, Canada, with a sound reminiscent of bands like: The Wonder Years and Living With Lions. Seaway is currently working on a new single mixed by Jay Maas (Defeater) which will be released digitally in the coming months. Catch Seaway on tour this summer in the U.S. with Maker and Light Years.
